So I went for a day. I went on Sunday, the banquet was at night, so we ate some stuff before accompanying my mum and brother to a salon.
My brother was getting rid of his thick helmet, while my mum permed her hair.
Now my brother has quite a fashionable haircut, but its weird. Imagine someone cutting botak all the way suddenly changed hairstyle.
And its my brother trying to act shuai. Walao I cannot imagine him standing in front of the mirror and admire himself.
Now, after relieving his defensive duties, he will not need a helmet haircut anymore.
So after that we went to eat again, and prepared.
I wore the same clothes during DE, this time without the tie.
Walao eh, turned out that I was quite overdressed. I was still thinking whether to add a tie a not la.
The food was okay, but the service was quite shit. They changed side plates every 2 dishes or so, so imagine after having the fish, you have to use the same plate to eat the duck or something. By the way there were no abalone.
So the 5-star label is used to bluff people one la. But maybe its because its the best in the small town of Batu Pahat, that's why its considered 5 star.
Anyway my mum kept trying to hao lian me to every relative. Everytime when I was standing at a corner she will pull me over to showcase me.
Then everytime the answer was, "Wah le eh kia ah? Jin yandao de worss!" in the Malaysian accent. (Means, "Wah your son? Looks very shuai)
Walao if friends like that say I am still okay, but if relatives say these kind of things I will feel shy lehZxXzx *blushes*
Even my maternal grandmother felt the same too.
Because, according to my aunt, while my grandmother saw me, she looked towards my aunt with an amazed reaction.
"Eh zeh eh kia jin shuai leh. Siang lai eh?" she asked my aunt. (Means, "Eh this guy looks very shuai. Who is it?")
Aunt: "Walao eh zeh eh kia si le eh sun la!" (Means, "Walao eh this is you grandson la!)
Grandmother: "OMFG WTF I KENA OWNED!?!?"
Before the dinner, I walked around the house, said hello to her, sat on the sofa to watch tv. I was in the house for an hour plus, and apparently she didn't notice me -.-
My aunt deduced that maybe I didn't do my hair and wear nice clothes, that's why she never saw me.
Anyway Saturday when I worked at Hyatt, it was the toughest and jialat day I ever had.
Because our tables were slower than the rest, the team leader aka David stationed himself near us and scrutinized our actions.
Almost everytime he saw me I got scolded. I was disgusted. Everytime he told me, to go with something, and come back with something, don't make double trips.
I tried, but it's not really working well. Like when someone asked me for a drink, I will have to wait till the oval tray is full, before I go to the backlane and get the drink. Sometimes there are quite a lot of orders at one go, so most of the time I will forget them.
I think I did that quite a few times. At the end an auntie asked for some green chilli, I called someone to get some for her, but apparently that guy ran away.
Then some guy asked to top up, I was so busy that I forgot to refill his orange crush, until he told me.
But forgetting all these, something good happened in the end.
The same auntie who ask for green chilli, told some lady beside her, "blahblahblah bin jin yandao."
Then from the corner of my eye I saw her pointing towards me and saying those words.
I think I can officially proclaim myself as 师奶杀手.
Okay I shall stop now its becoming a very BHB post. Sorry.
