I am watching Singapore VS Saudi Arabia now.

Apparently Saudi is leading 1-0 right now.

Watching Singapore play can be quite frustrating. Because they like to pump long balls and crosses. They always pass their way to midfield, and from there, they like to lob high balls to the strikers. Though the passing has improved but obviously every fan wants to watch slick passing and movement, and not just lumping high balls to the strikers. Not that our strikers are very tall anyway.

Hopefully we can score. Hopefully its not a repeat of the previous game which we lost 1-0 to Uzbekistan.

It seems that when we pass around our way to the opponent's goal, we will run out of ideas. Players will not pass and run. Little choices to pass to. No wonder they lob those high balls.

Anyway I am waiting excitedly. Spain will be playing against Sweden. And by that time I will be converted to a Spain fan.

Fwah their passing is swee, movement is swee, counter attacking is swee. Everything is swee. Even their players also quite handsome.

Another team is Holland. If they also pass swee, attack also swee, and also score swee goals. Like the recent one which Sneider turned and shoot, against France. And they are fast too.

The only bad point is that the defence is not swee. The defenders are quite average and there are not many star players in defence. And during friendlies their defence shipped in quite a number of goals.

Okay back to topic. But, attack is the best form of defence. If Holland can keep on their momentum and attack, the opponents could not really create much chances. Compared to Holland, Spain has a better defence.
